This project consists of construction of approximately 9.8 kilometres of the Klondike Highway from kilometre 641.7 to kilometre 651.5. The work takes place in the Traditional Territory of the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun and Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in First Nation. The work consists of but is not limited to: mobilization and demobilization; traffic control; grubbing; clearing; stripping; roadway excavation; constructing subgrade, sub-base and base courses; removing and disposal of existing corrugated steel pipe; supplying and installing corrugated steel pipe ; supplying and applying calcium chloride; and environmental compliance.
