1. Project Title: Senior System Developers for the Development, Enhancement, and Maintenance of Web Applications and APIs

The Department of Environment is requesting information from interested parties for the supply of senior system developers to support the department’s ongoing need for custom web solutions and to supplement our internal development resources. The goal is to establish a pool of qualified professionals. We are looking for freelance developers, rather than developers employed by a company, as we require direct, ongoing contact with the developer for the duration of projects. In addition, interested parties must be located in Pacific or Mountain Standard time zones to facilitate synchronous communication through the Yukon Government work day.
3. This Request for Expression of Interest (“RFEI”) is intended to gather information that could assist the Government of Yukon (“Owner”) in the development of a subsequent procurement process. In the event that sufficient information is received, the Owner may, but is not obligated to, initiate a subsequent procurement process or opportunity. 

Project leads based out of Whitehorse, Yukon within the traditional territories of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta'an Kwach'an Council.
