The Yukon government intends to award a contract to Driftscape Inc. for $70,000.00 to develop and host a white-label attractions-based mobile app that integrates the Yukon’s sites of interest into their national digital discovery platform. The app enables users to explore interpretive sites across the Yukon and plan their trips based on locations they would like to visit. Additionally, sites are included on the Driftscape – Local Guide app, as part of thousands of sites and tours across North America. 

The white-label app will include information on more than 200 sites along Yukon’s major travel corridors, including directions, services, and amenities, and include built-in offline support features. Additional features include custom branded layers, location aware notifications, custom trip planning, curated tours with narration, augmented reality features, and interpretive tools to engage users in learning more about the Yukon. 

This contract includes the initial white-label set up fee, offline support feature development fee, and on-going development, maintenance, and support for three years from March 1, 2024 to February 28, 2027.
