This project involves engineering and design of a cantilever sidewalk on the west side of the Takhini River Bridge, located at km 196 of the Klondike Highway #2. The scope of work includes the structural design of the sidewalk, strengthening of truss elements, and the replacement of bridge bearings as required. The Consultant shall be responsible for delivering a fully integrated design that considers constructability, staging, and traffic impacts. The final design shall enable the safe, durable, and functional addition of active transportation infrastructure while preserving the structural integrity of the existing bridge.

The work will be done in the Community of Whitehorse and the Traditional Territories of Ta’an Kwäch’än Council & Kwanlin Dün First Nation.
