The purpose of this tender is to provide Yukon Wildland Fire Management Branch(WFM) the exclusive use of one (1) heavy land-based, turbine airtanker group consisting of one (1) birddog and one (1) heavy air tanker and one (1) light land based, turbine airtanker group consisting of one (1) birddog and four (4) light airtankers. Both groups are to include aircraft, pilots and maintenance services for fire management activities for a period of five (5) years Due to the unpredictability of fire season, work is assumed to occur in every Yukon community and each of the Traditional Territories
