Brief Description of the Work: Little Salmon Carmacks First Nation (LSCFN) Water Treatment Plant (WTP) upgrades to be completed to meet new compliance standards, a highlight of key upgrades for LSCFN WTP include:

• Backup pump for existing indoor well;
• Upgrade Potassium Permanganate dosing system;
• New greensand filter media;
• Upgrade UV system to provide primary disinfection;
• Upgrade Chlorine dosing systems for secondary disinfection and tank recirculation;
• New chlorine analyzers with data recording and reporting to the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC);
• New monitoring and control instrumentation including new pumps for process automation;
• New PLC and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system with Human-Machine Interface (HMI) for operator control with auto-dialer alarm system on separate line (No remote access);
• Backup power supply for whole building, and;
• Fume hood and chemical storage.
