The successful proponent will work closely with the Historic Sites Unit, Government of Yukon to create a report examining management priorities at historic sites within Government of Yukon heritage reserves. The Contractor will build on existing material by undertaking public engagement and First Nation consultation. The contractor will then incorporate community and stakeholder value into draft statements of significance for a complete understanding of heritage values.

The project will take place in three stages. The first is to review existing information and familiarize the Contractor with historic sites included in the project. The second is to complete engagement and consultation and incorporate new information into statements of significance for each site. In the third and final stage, the Contractor will evaluate conservation and management priorities for the Historic Sites Unit, based on a variety of criteria. The results of the project will be compiled into a report to guide management of these sites in the future. The project will incorporate time for feedback and revisions. 

Work will be undertaken within the following communities and First Nation Traditional Territories.
