The Yukon Department of Highway and Public Works, Information and Communication Technology Division (HPW-ICT) is interested in creating a Greenfields framework that reflects modern Active Directory (AD) identity management and automation, and a move from the current on-premise AD infrastructure to Azure AD. Administration overhead is increasing as the existing AD attempts to exist and function within the Yukon Government’s (YG) modern network environment. ICT does not have the resources to manage the risk inherent in the inconsistencies in functionality and behavior of the existing system.

This RFI is a pre-cursor to the Active Directory Greenfields project itself and focuses on YG’s need for assistance in the scoping and discovery phase of this project. As such, YG is looking for information regarding methodology and process around discovering AD-connected assets on the network and building a migration plan, building policy and process to govern the new AD, and understanding industry experience with a large-scale Active Directory rebuild project for government and enterprise level clients.
