Brief Description of the Work: Demolition of the Macaulay Lodge facility in the Riverdale community of Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. Macaulay Lodge is a 2-story, wood frame, residential-occupancy building with an approximate gross floor area of 2,970 m2. It was originally built in the late 1960’s, with additions in 1974 and 1983. Formerly a Long Term Care Home, it has been unoccupied since 2018. The facility contains hazardous building materials, including but not limited to lead and asbestos containing materials, which must be removed and disposed of in accordance with the specifications.
