This project consists of construction of approximately 16.3 kilometres of the Klondike Highway from kilometre 542.3 to kilometre 558.6. The work consists of but is not limited to: mobilization and demobilization; traffic control; grubbing; clearing and salvage; stripping; drilling, blasting and rock excavation; constructing rock embankment, roadway excavation; constructing subgrade, sub-base and base courses; removal and disposal of existing corrugated steel pipe; removal and salvage of existing structural plate corrugated steel pipe; supplying and installing corrugated steel pipe and welded seam corrugated steel pipe; supplying and installing structural plate corrugated steel pipe; channel construction; producing, sorting, hauling and placing riprap; sorting, hauling and stockpiling riprap; supplying and applying calcium chloride; and environmental compliance.
