The project includes the assessments of the Yukon Wide airfield electrical systems which consists of, but are not limited to: field inspections & necessary tests; essential calculations; assessing the safety and operating risks which require immediate as well as future attention to correct the deficiencies; gap analysis between the current state of airfield electrical systems, equipment & components and the Transport Canada’s Aerodrome Standards and Recommended Practices (TP 312, 5th edition); recommendations based on the assessments for upgrading including AACE  C3  ( 20% to -15%) cost estimates with a unit price table for each airport / aerodrome for 2 and 5 year plans.

Work will take place in all communities in the Yukon.
