Work to be done under this Contract consists of construction of runway extension and asphalt overlay of existing parallel runway 14L-32R and taxiway D at the Erik Nielsen Whitehorse International Airport, ENWIA, located in Whitehorse, Yukon. The work consists of, but is not limited to construction of subgrade; removal and crushing for re-use existing concrete pavement; construction of granular base and sub-base; construction of new asphalt pavements; cold milling and asphalt overlay of existing pavements; supply and installation of new airfield lighting equipment; installation of owner supplied field electrical center; installation of airfield pavement markings.
