Community: Town of Ross River, Town of Watson Lake Traditional Territory: The Kaska Nation Location: Wolverine Mine. In southeastern Yukon near the headwaters of the Wolverine Lake watershed, approximately halfway between the communities of Ross River and Watson Lake. Description: Description: Government of Yukon is soliciting proposals for the provision of engineering and environmental services for the Wolverine Mine Reclamation Project. The Project will characterize mine site conditions and then develop plans, models and designs to advance overall site remediation including water management and treatment. The work includes technical guidance for mine site care and maintenance operations, third-party asset removal programs and environmental monitoring programs. |
