Notice is hereby given by Government of Yukon, Department of Environment, of its intent to contract with Navius Research to provide the following services:

Ongoing energy-economy modelling on an as-needed basis to assist with setting and achieving greenhouse gas reduction targets and identifying policies and programs to reach those targets. This may include: model updates; analyzing the impact of new policies and programs from the federal and Yukon governments; extending the model forecast to later years (e.g., 2050); providing technical advice related to greenhouse gas emissions and emissions reduction opportunities; and any other tasks related to energy-economy modelling as agreed to by the Government of Yukon and the contractor.

Estimated Project Value: $150,000 for the initial 3-year contract plus $150,000 for the optional 3-year extension.

Anticipated Contract Length: June 2021 to June 2024. There is a renewal option for this contract, which may be renewed for up to 3 years at the discretion of the Government of Yukon.

Government of Yukon, Department of Environment, intends to direct award this contract to Navius Research because to the best knowledge of Department of Environment there is only one contractor that can supply the services required.

This tender is subject to Chapter Five of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.
