Community: Whitehorse Traditional Territory: Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council The Department of Economic Development (EcDev) is requesting information from interested parties about the supply of a robust online immigration system. Currently, the management of the immigration application process uses paper-based applications that are entered manually by staff into the back-end of an online permit and licensing system. This process is subject to human error, duplication, reporting challenges and time delays. The goal is to use an immigration-specific solution to track and manage the lifecycle of the applications, streamline the entire process, and enable on-line submission of applications to alleviate the amount of data entry, manual handling, and processing of paper files and increase accuracy and efficiency. |
